Sweet Jess - Rosebud Pelargonium (Geranium) Plant - 6cm pot

Sweet Jess is a vigorous growing Rosebud Pelargonium that produces silvery-pink flowers. Its leaves are a lush green with a dark medallion in the centre.

Rosebud Pelargonium first appeared by a spontaneous mutation around 1850.  Swiftly gaining popularity the flowers were often used for floral arrangements as well as buttonholes.  After falling out of fashion for a while the Rosebud varieties seem to be picking up in popularity once again with some interesting developments happening hybridisers.  

These plants are supplied in a 6cm biodegradable pot which you can put straight into the pot or location you wish.  As time goes on the pot will simply compost down and the plant will happily grow on.

Hardiness: Requires protection from frost

Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost.

Growth rate:  Fast, bushy  (50cm x 60cm) w x h

Flowering period: Apr - Sept
