P. Ignescens is a Species Hybrid Pelargonium and was one of the very early hybrids to be produced. It produces flowers of bright scarlet and have a black flush and veining on the upper petals. It really makes for a fantastic display all summer long.

These plants are supplied in a 6cm biodegradable pot which you can put straight into the pot or location you wish. As time goes on the pot will simply compost down and the plant will happily grow on.

Position: Full sun

Hardiness: Requires protection from frost

Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost.

Growth rate: Fast

Flowering period: All year round

How to care for your plant:

Plant Instructions: If used as summer bedding plant at least 40cm apart.

Care Instructions: Remove dead flowers regularly and feed once a week with a high potash feed (a good tomato feed will do it!) to encourage a better & longer flowering season.

Water Instructions: Water well, then allow compost to dry before watering again.
