Lara Beacon is a striking species hybrid that produces very bright scarlet flowers with dark feathering and veining on the upper petals.
This really stands out from the crowd and many visitors to the Gardeners World Live Show 2025 spotted within our display.
These plants are supplied in a 6cm biodegradable pot which you can put straight into the pot or location you wish. As time goes on the pot will simply compost down and the plant will happily grow on.

Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost.
Growth rate: Fast
Flowering period: All year round
How to care for your plant:
If used as summer bedding plant at least 40cm apart.
Remove dead flowers regularly and feed once a week with a high potash feed (a good tomato feed will do it!) to encourage a better & longer flowering season.
Water well, then allow compost to dry before watering again.
