P. kewensis is a Species Hybrid Pelargonium which is less commonly grown than some of its modern counterparts.  Dating back the the 18th century it was found at Kew Gardens and thought to be a cross between P. scandens and P. Zonale.  This plant has a compact habit and produces large heads of flowers which are bright rose pink. It has zoned leaves which makes a great backdrop to the flower display.

These plants are supplied in a 6cm biodegradable pot which you can put straight into the pot or location you wish.  As time goes on the pot will simply compost down and the plant will happily grow on.

Position: Full sun

Hardiness: Requires protection from frost

Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost.

Growth rate:  Fast

Flowering period: All year round

How to care for your plant:

If used as summer bedding plant at least 40cm apart.
Remove dead flowers regularly and feed once a week with a high potash feed (a good tomato feed will do it!) to encourage a better & longer flowering season.
Water well, then allow compost to dry before watering again.
