Renate Parsley - Species Pelargonium / Geranium - Single Plant 6cm bio Pot

This species hybrid pelargonium is an produces masses of flowers of wine red with a black dot at the centre of the upper petals and the lower ones are a pale pink.  

The leaves are a grey-green, ovate shape with serrated edges. It grows in an almost trailing habit, which makes it a great plant to spill out over the edge of pots.

Raised in 1996  by Hazel Key, curator of the former National Pelargonium Collection at Fibrex Nurseries and named after a fellow Pelargonium enthusiast. It is a cross between P. tricolor and P. ovale.

These plants are supplied in a 6cm biodegradable pot which you can put straight into the pot or location you wish.  As time goes on the pot will simply compost down and the plant will happily grow on.

Hardiness: Requires protection from frost

Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost.

Growth rate:  Fast

Flowering period: All year round
