Attar of Roses is an old well-known variety of scented leaf Pelargoniums, it is one of the most loved scented pelargoniums.  It has small soft pink flowers with feathery, multi-lobed, mid-green leaves.

It is often recognised as one of the scented leaved Pelargonium to have and Carol Klein discussed this plant among one of her favourites at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023. Believed to be a cross from P. capitatum and its leaves can be used for pot pourri for its great scent.

This plant makes a great addition to any border or in a pot on the patio.

By far our largest group of Pelargoniums in our collection - Scented-leaved Pelargoniums (Geraniums) are a delightful group of plants that boast attractive leaves infused with a captivating array of pleasant and intriguing scents. How to care for your Pelargonium/Geranium

Position: Full sun

Hardiness: Requires protection from frost

Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost.

If used as summer bedding plant at least 40cm apart.

Remove dead flowers regularly and feed once a week with a high potash feed (a good tomato feed will do it!) to encourage a better & longer flowering season.

Water well, then allow compost to dry before watering again. Be careful not to over-water in hot dry spells.
