P. Ignescens - Species Hybrid Pelargonium / Geranium - Single unusual plant - 9cm pot

P. Ignescens is a Species Hybrid Pelargonium and was one of the very early hybrids to be produced.  It produces flowers of bright scarlet and have a black flush and veining on the upper petals. It really makes for a fantastic display all summer long. 

These plants are growing in 9cm pots - for posting the pots will be removed and replaced with a compostable bag.  The plastic pots will be reused.

Position: Full sun

Hardiness: Requires protection from frost

Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost.

Growth rate:  Fast

Flowering period: All year round
